That stupid Da Vinci Code DVD... Help!

I want to use AutoGK for making an AVI file of 700MB (not for rapidshare or anything), becase I'm blind, and my braille software can only read Dutch subtitles in Avi files, not when it's a DVD. I copied the DVD using DVd Decrypter and AnyDVD (because the DVD was copy-protected). But the problem is... THE DAMN SUBTITLES!!!
The audio and video are fine, but VobSub rips the Dutch subs always wrong, with a delay of one minute.
When I test the DVd on my HD, the subs are fine.
I know you can use SubResync when you wanna set delays... but when I do so, AutoGK blocks completely, because it starts burning the subs in the movie (I use hardcoded subs, have no choice, my braille computer can only read forced subs) and will not use the corrected idx files.

WHAT THE ... DO I HAVE TO DO?

Considering that you've stated you are blind, your ability to post here (and presumably "read" the responses) is impressive to me.

However, parts of your post are confusing to me, as they appear to contradictory:

Sorry, this part of py post is confusing indeed.
I meant: When I play the original DVD on my HD, I asked someone whether the subs are in sync. My brother said they were okay, so I thought: when I run the movie trough AutoGK an make an hardsubbed avi file, it's gonan be okay.
But it wasn't okay at all...

I'm sorry, but each answer seems to beg yet another question, such as:

1) Since you're blind, what difference does it make whether the subtitles are synched to the video?

2) You speak of using "AutoGK", "DVD Decrypter", "AnyDVD", "VOBSub", etc. How can you, a sightless person use these programs?

No need to answer my questions - it's just my innate curiosity.

I'm sure another member will provide you with the information you're seeking.

It's no problem to answer your questions, believe me, if you have more questions, please ask them.
If the subs aren't in sync with the video (and audio), then the translation of what one is saying in he movie can't be right. The audio, video en subs have to be in sync, unless you don't care if you're reading translations of sentences that already have been said...
Being blind, I can perfectly well work with the programs you mentioned in your last post, though. There are only a few things that drive my braille software mad, like the problem I've got now with subs, flash sites etc... But for the rest I can do anything I want.

Is possible that some part from the begining of the DVD to give you these problems with subtiles. Sometimes are problems with audio delay. Try to cut with some tool from the begining of the movie.

He's also a very good friend of mine, so who offences bollemanneke, offences me.

He uses a laptop with such a thing as in the picture connected to it, that serves to convert text signals into braille signals, and he can read it with his fingers.

So your braille software is smart enough to do OCR on the hardcoded subs but it is not smart enough to do OCR on the dvd subs?

OCR = Optical character recognition

Anywayz, I also had the same problem with dvds using Arcoss(and other schemes). Vobsub always screws up the times when ripping those subs. And I am forced to correct them manually through Subresync. (and these happens with DVDfab rips too).

Holy shit! I never thought it's possible!

Now to the problem: I think there are audiobooks about the movie. Since this movie uses a lot of video-information, which cannot be comprised in any subtitle track (if I may a joke: since 1 picture equals 1000 words and since there are 24 pictures per second ...), I would strongly suggest you one audiobook, professionally red by a trained speaker.

But why don't you try SubRip? I never used it, but people here say it's really good in having them OCRed.
