how to remove unwanted material from blu ray

ok ive been backing up my blu ray collection to my hard drive, and want to play them from the pc only no discs wanted. now currently i back up the whole disc. ive noticed that its usually one big file in the disc that contains the main movie can i just keep that file and delete all the rest or do i need the folder structure and the other data files to play the movie. can i burn this later if i were to need to if i only keep that file.
is there a way i can keep the menu and main movie but delete the extras? thanks any help would be appreciated.

BD-RB will do what you want. Or you could use TsMuxer. Just a little searching and a little reading and you'll be ready to go. ;)
