Hi this is my first thread here. I Used to make own movies with the guides I found here on doom9. Last years I don't do that anymore I only correct subtitles now.
The worst thing I found on subtitles was that they were too long. I downloaded a few years ago a small prog that called SRTMeter. But last week I accidentely removed it and now I can't find it anywhere on the internet.
Can someone please help me getting it back.
:thanks:

I'm not that dumb ok there's no working link anymore. Otherwise I wouldn't be here.
I'm hoping that someone still have this prog.

You're right. I'm sorry.
You can adjust too long subtitles with Subtitle Workshop. Press Ctrl+L. For max put: 5900 ms. for min put: 1100 ms. These values are safe and I'm using them for years.
Before using the Ctrl+L option you can use also Ctrl+Shift+R and put these values: 55, 55, 60.
Also you can use the Ctrl+Shift+Y option.
Before save you can use Ctrl+i to check for errors.
enjoy,
Mtz
Give my app, SubHub (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=138110) a try. It can find errors in Srt files. There are pre-made queries for "too long" and "too short" subs but right now the values are hardcoded (over 8000 ms for too long). The next version will probably let you edit the thresholds values.
