Hey doomsters.....,
replaced dvd to b-ray. hddvd compatable model for my htpc. want to rip w/freebe blueraydiscripper 1.5
have ripped\authored d's for years. but b-rays seem more complex. know my file types ie TS, VOB, VTS etc. I see the bray is .m2ts files. I see on this forum there are 1. separate threads for the 'volume keys' for bray vs hddvd (aacs).
my questions:
1. How do I use the aacs program and what lines\syntax's is the data I copy into the rip program?
2. Is the data the same for hddvd?
3. what is the 'dumpit' program and what is it's purpose?
4. I see there are many pages in the accs thread specifying many volume keys for varios films. Is there not one single alphabetized header with the films instead of randomnly checkin' through all the pages?

after not loggin' in for many years, some things change, yet still remain the same.
thnx,
chilled

check out my guide (see my sig). It covers the basics and hopefully will be a good place to get started.
