MWP / Playa confusion and subtitles Problems

Hi,

I have ripped Romeo and Juliet today using the DVD2AVI --> VirtualDub --> Lame --> Nandub method. It works fine only: If i ply it in MWP its perfect but with the DivX Playa the sound is played slower than the pictures (???!!!) and it get rally worse at the end (sound 15 sec behind the movie). Where is here the problem?

Ok, i have ripped the subtitles with vobsub (using version 2.08). I have now an vts...idx .sub .ifo file. I have ripped the Englisch and the German subtitles. The tutorial says that on some (magical) way i can choose the subtiltes in WMP (??!!) if i have all files in the same dir. Yeah... perhapps im blind (i searched through the whole programm) but i couldn't find any selection. I have even named the avi file the same like all others (vts_01_0.avi).

Any Hints?

i don't know which wmp you use, but there should show up a green arrow in your taskbar. there you could select your desired language.

but subtitles should appear by default, if vobsub is installed corectly.

I'm using WMP 8

The settings are in the System Tray (not Taskbar)... ok i haven't searched there.
It works now perfecet also with rared vobs. excellent. THANKS

However, the playa (my favourite till now) wont support that, right? And it also scrues up my sync... very bad...
