Nice title huh?
I think that the "pirate scene" provides a very nice function with .mkv and external subs for that, really easy to play on a computer or a PS3 with PMS.
Otherwise pirates are scum and so on..
How do they do it? Can anyone tell me wich software they use to get a full original BD to a dvd5 or 9 and in the mkv container. Are there any links to posts in this forums how these softwares operate?
Are there just custom subs or can you extract the streams you wan't?
The reason I ask is that I own several BD's that I wan't to make smaller and put on hdd so I easy can take them with to my small summer cottage and so on.
I have tried tsmuxer and with great result. Couldn't get any subs to work on my PS3 (that support external subs in PMS) and the output file is full size.
Then I tried BD Rebuild to get the size down but I can stand waiting 24h when I need to do some work also.
And then there is the external subs...
Can I get help here or is it for another forum?
