I clipped out part of the beginning of a movie using DVD Shrink.
I also intended to change the font and colour of the subs using SubRip and Srt2Sup.
I found that the OCR output from SubRip showed the original times for the subtitles (although the clipped movie shows the subtitles at the appropriate dialog).
In the example below, I expected the first sub to be listed at five seconds - not the original four minutes, thirty two seconds.
Does the movie keep the original setting, but compensate internally and if so, is there a way around it.
1
00:04:32,087 --> 00:04:34,282
- Wake up, Will.
2
00:04:40,195 --> 00:04:43,255
Starboard bow ahoy!
