AC3 file for audio

Okay, I've used the ac3 file for audio and I got the exact filesize I was looking for. When I go to play I get no audio. Is there a codec needed for playing this with the ac3 file as audio?

Go do doom9's download page and download ac3dec (just make sure to click Full Listing). Then use PowerDivx to get the best ac3 playback.
And wait patiently for the PowerDivx4 :) :D :) (though I don't know it, but it looks promising...)

I downloaded the audio filters from doom9 and it worked great. Am I going to have any isues splitting this movie with nandub?

No you won't.I have made 20+ movies with ac3 an i didn't have any proble.Make sure your interleave settings(at muxing) where correct..
