Is anyone else having trouble ripping the "My Best Friend's Girl" Blu-Ray? It is said to be Lionsgate and not Fox. I'm using dumphd with the latest processing keys. I'm wondering if I got a bad disc.

Has anyone ripped this Blu-Ray successfully? I got another disc and I have the same problem. There is no video playback in mplayer (although there is audio) and video playback in xine is blocky and distorted.

Hi!

As an experiment, just to see if the disc might be flawed, try ripping the BluRay disc with "MakeMKV" - Again, this is just to possibly determine if the disc is faulty...

No luck, it failed about 80% into the mkv creation process and just said "1 failed".

I tried again and it worked. Kinda weird, but I'm very pleased with makemkv so far.

As I mentioned in another of your threads:

I believe I'd read here somewhere that you can run DVDFab under LINUX. Have you tried using the BluRay ripping capability of the free trial version of "DVDFab Platinum" or "DVDFab Gold" (Available as part of the download of freeware "DVDFab HD")?

I had probems with that title. It was a while back, a few versions ago of eac3to. The audio came out fine, and the movie came out fine, but at the end of the movie a lot of extra scenes seemed to be appended, as if it was a misinterpretation of seamless branching.

I reripped it a couple days ago and all was fine. Weird.
