Hello

To begin, I've seen many people with troubles to extract subtitles from DVB-videos and I would like to give my own experience.
I'am using ProjectX to demux *.TS files, and it rather works very well, even to extract subtitles, which is not so easy.
I obtain a *.sup file that can be OCRed by using DVDSubedit: the most important parameter I use for subtitles is the following one: simulate DVB subpicture IRD color model: 0 (4 colours).
Indeed, if I make another choice, the sup file is useless.

Recently I've experienced a trouble with Projectx, that stops demuxing the subtitle after a while. The exact message is
"!> 1477 PTS rejected in the stream".
I'am sure the whole subtitles are present in the TS file, but I wonder if someone would have an explanation about what ProjectX does.

Thanks for any help

hello kevinsert

in fact, projectX rather works very well. I have troubles in a very short number of cases, like the one I mentioned.

What do you mean by hardsubbed subs ?
