I am fairly new to this and would like to convert this SVCD to a XVCD. Reason being me and my friends DVD player's will not support the SVCD format. I have been able to successfully convert it to a VCD using a resolution of 704x480 with an aspect ratio set to 4:3 NTSC in TMPEGEnc. I know that my image is slightly off from the way the SVCD is supposed to look like because I can play it even though it is choppy on my player. The image on the VCD is actually slightly smaller (height is shorter). I would like to know if it is possible to preserve the dimensions of the original when downconverting to the XVCD format and if so, how would I go about doing this. Thanks.
