I have a 2-disc copy of pride and prejudice I want to use BD rebuilder to a BD-9 for both and merge them like dvd-remake would do. I’m going to try tssplitter but I’m not sure if it will work

Hi!
Presumably, you've made these as "Movies-only". If so, "tsMuxeR" will happily accept the two M2TS files (Enter them in proper sequence) for input - ad allow you to output a new single BluRay "Movie-only" "package"...

There's nothing like DVDRemake that will do what you want.
It's movie only I'm afraid.

Actually if you are wanting to merge the movie together while keeping the menu and extras from disk 1 it might be workable if the original movie playlist refers to only one m2ts. It's kind of complicated to explain but you can try this:
- load first disk m2ts into tsmuxer and append the second disk m2ts like you would for movie only, we'll call this joined
- change the joined m2ts/clpi/mpls file names to match original disk 1
- hex edit joined clpi and mpls files to point to newly named joined m2ts (tsmuxer output will point to 00001.m2ts)
This worked to blank titles but it really needs more testing. An app would be more then welcome to do this blanking/replacing and with a little trickery could also probably support multple m2ts playlists.

I might try this later just to see if it works. I think for this film a movie only backup will be fine. This way the final product will be less than 20g. This is my wife's movie, if there is a reason to keep the bigger file she will never see it

I got err done.
tsmuxer 1.9.9 the playback was not smooth. I used tssplitter and tsremux.0.0.21.2, 2 times 1st to a TS file then to BD file.
I really like how BD rebuilder takes the guess work out multi MLS file movies. It replaces the need for BDedit, that's all I ever used it for.

Were you able to keep menu and extras?
If so did what I mention work?
Did it need some corrections?

it's "movie only" and plays all 5-1/2 hours perfectly, so my wife told me.
tsmuxer 1.9.9 had a join option but I could not figure out how that worked.

any updates on ways to do this?
I just encoded my Band of Brothers down to BD-5 for each episode if there is a way to join them with a simple menu I could split it up on 2 BP-25 discs and each would be less than 22g.
Again something like remake. I knew it wouldn't work but I tried Nero-8 and it take each BP-5 episode and fills a BP-25 disc. I could burn each episode or make a 25g data disc or wait for a better program to join the episodes
the quality of the BP-5 on these films is perfect

@datmantsmuxer 1.9.9 had a join option but I could not figure out how that worked.
1) The most recent version of "tsMuxeR" is v.1.10.6
2) Click on the "ADD" button and browse to and select your first .M2Ts file. It should now appear in the main Window.
3) Click on the "JOIN" button and browse to and select your second M2TS. It should now appear in the main Window with "++" to the left.
4) Select "BluRay" - and click on "Start"

I did it with tsmuxer before you posted and it worked but was in one movie only file. That could be fine if I just "go to" the right chapter.
multiAVCHD looks like it will work It had all 5 discs in the chapters but in pdvd 3319a I could not "go to "any other disc.
so I'm converting it to an ISO to see it it will work in pdvd 8

Actually.. I think it's a lot more than a GUI.. ;-)

Although I personally see it your way, "deank" insists on saying that it's "only a GUI overlaying several programs"...

yes you are right about that. It will take some time to get this one figured out.
I did it the simple way and that's all the results I wanted, it looks like I can create a menu and everything. So that will be cool.
I did run into a glitch. It looked like all was good except the 5th disc froze half way through. 6-10 froze on 6. I had been saving in a BD file it's the way I have alway done it. Now I'm running each back through tsmuxer this time saving as a avchd disc then run it through multiavchd saving as a BD disc

it looks like most of the parts froze during playback. My best guess is that using BDRB before multiAVCHD may be a problem. So I am running after it. multiAVCHD joined all 5 parts into a 67.40g file with a menu. I loaded it into BDRB a full disc backup and saving it to a BD-25 and unchecked saving the HD audio.
See if it works
