Supposedly this latest release includes a way to import an avi and auto encode to svcd from there. Can someone tell me how? Thanks

Just go to the Misc settings tab and select AVi2SVCD instead of DVD2SVCD.
Then on the conversion tab, input the AVI file of our choice.

There you go.
