MeGUI XviD Presets

I haven't found anything that outlines the diferences with the new XviD presets in MeGUI.

I understand the 2pass Balanced and 2pass FAST options, but what is the difference between the 2pass HQ and Const. Quantizer 2 HQ? If I understand it right, 2pass HQ will give better quality than Const. Quanitizer, because Const. Quantizer treats every frame the same, right?

Also, what is the difference between the normal and the (Hometheater) options?

CQ is single pass constant quantizer, 2pass is bitrate based 2 pass encoding ... :search:.
HomeTheatre indicates DivX HomeTheatre compatible settings.

My search-fu must be weak because I was unable to find anything about it besides this thread and your development thread where you mentioned new XviD presets but no details.

it's not about megui but about xvid.
xvid supports CQ, 1pass and 2pass encoding modes. it also supports VBV parameters. all those info are in the xvid related threads/forums.
