I have used dvd2svcd with 5 movies without any problem.
I usually stop the process before bbmpg and
then I use bbmpg to cut and multiplex in order to burn the movie to 2 cd's.
Then i use Nero to burn them in super video cd format.
The last time I did that I had this strange problem:
although the two parts after the cutting and multiplexing
were 716MB (approx. 740.360.000 bytes) and 739 MB (approx. 770.000.000 bytes)
they couldn't fit into a simple cd (740MB) into Nero as if they
were 741MB and 770MB!
I finally managed to burn them by cutting the start and end sequences
but I do not understand what happened! Any help needed!
Thanks in advance.

For some reason Nero must have believed that you where making a data-cd which just holds 650Mb for a 74 Min CD. I have seen bug reports on some Nero-versions that make this calculation wrong.
You must use the "Super Video CD" template in Nero.
If you did have you activated overburning?
In some case it solves this type of problem even when you don't overburn.
The above was my answer number one.
Right before I posted it I remembered that you stopped before the mux.
I think that you did your manual mux with wrong parameters.
This forces Nero to pad those misaligned packets and then the size rises.
Remux with bbmpeg svcd setting and everything would be right again.

Alternatively, you could have just used two of those handy 800MB CDs so you wouldn't have to cut anything from your movie. :D

But, come to think of it, you were backing up "Evolution" actually, so you could as well delete the two MPGs altogether, it's a waste of recording material anyway! :)

Cheers mate!
