How to rip episodes like anime DVDs

Anime dvds are most of the time episodes of each 22 min. The complete dvd is about 3 hours.
What i want is: i just want one mpg file as result,
and then cut it in diffent episodes with TMPGenc. So i can burn
a nice disc with 2 tracks.

How can i bypass the preprogrammed options of dvd2svcd ?

I do a lot of animes, but I don't use DVD2SVCD, I use DVD2avi and then do inverse telecine in TMPG, I don't make one file and then split it. Instead I only rip HALF of the movie to make one disk at a time.
