View Full Version : Multiple Blu-Ray playlists for seamless branching

Hi,
I've noticed that some of my Blu-Rays are starting to have multiple seamless branching playlists (of the same duration, according to BDInfo) for the main movie which is making it problematic to select the correct one to put on my Popcorn Hour.
Does anyone know of a website that lists the correct playlists to use?
Many thanks,
Moley

Does PCH support BD playlists (mpls)?
You can check which is your biggest m2ts file and find its name in some of the mpls files.

Hi Deank,
Thanks for the reply!
The PCH doesn't support playlists as such, but I use the playlists in tsmuxer/tonmt to strip out all the unwanted languages to keep the sizes smaller.
The problem is, for example Wall-E, where there are about a dozen or so seamless-branching playlists all of the same duration and size, but the playlists reference different various .m2ts files. With the Wall-E example, this means that the opening credits can de displayed in different languages, but even then, as far as I can see, there is more than one English one.
It is all very confusing and makes life a little tricker. And I don't really fancy letting my toddler loose with my discs :)
I was hoping that there was a website/list of which playlists people had used successfully in the past for various movies.
Thanks again,
Moley
