VOB is a container and so is MKV so you need to extract all streams from the vob and mux them into the mkv. I think mkvmerge should work for you.

"This File Is Unsupported Container Format"
i have also tryd TSremux with better results but when i save the TS file it will not play

Okay then... can you try renaming vob to mpg and put it thru multiavchd to see if it will pass?
can you load the vob in tsmuxer and demux the streams and then use mkvmerge?
