I've been searching around for awhile now and I'm still a little overwhelmed at the many encoding/transcoding muxer/demuxer programs out there to try and piece together what I'm trying to do. I'm looking to broadcast some video content periodically over the net, that people will be able to play with either a specific media player(media player classic, smplayer, vlc, etc), or across a broad range. I've used winamp with the nsv format and tried messing with vlc but vlc doesn't seem like the right program to use. Most of my content is in h264, and I'd like to keep it that way, the audio is generally aac or mp3. I'm looking for a program or medium I can take the content and broadcast it without having to reencode it(transmuxing I guess is what I'm looking for) if possible. Thanks.

(if in wrong thread please move, and yes I've used search)

Have you looked at broadcasting with Flash? It supports a live streaming protocol if you need it, and will stream all of your h264 videos just fine.
