It's because megui and avisynth packages are build for Windows 32bits as target instead of 64bits apps. So, these applications will be installed in the x86 folder by default.

and i install K-Lite Codec Pack 4.7.5 FULL
and Haali Media Splitter

but i steel can not play my video with Classic media player , and Windows media player , i can not play any xvid video for some reason ,

now every time i open the file with megui i get this

its rely something string , I have all the codec installed but i can play any file ,


Now i uninstall all the codec and i clean my OS and registry from all this stuff , can you tell me what

This is all a mess. MeGUI works perfectly fine on 64-bit Windows Vista, but in the normal MeGUI setup everything is 32-bit. To get encoding working on an x64 system, you don't need to install 64-bit ANYTHING. You need MeGUI and all updates, 32-bit Avisynth, 32-bit ffdshow-tryouts, 32-bit Haali's splitter. If you're using AVISource() or AVI input files, you need to make sure ffdshow VFW decoder is set to decode whatever your input format is (but search the forum, because on some MPEG-4 ASP files without packed bitstream ffdshow returns frames out of order and you need to use the XviD VFW decoder).

Uninstall K-Lite, you need no codec packs. Uninstall 64-bit ffdshow, 32-bit Avisynth can't use it anyway. If you're playing something back and want to test the filters that MeGUI will use, you need to use 32-bit MPC-HC and disable all internal filters except source filters like AVI, etc.

now lets just forget about megui ok , i can not play any file with windows media player or media player classic ,

Disable the MPC internal audio swticher.
Use the K-Lite Codec Tweak Tool to re-register base Windows codecs (it'll be a check box option). Can you get audio from other applications, whether they use DirectShow or not?

OK , i reload the server and i install windows server 32 bit ,

install 32-bit ffdshow
install MatroskaSplitter.exe

only this tow thing ,

i steel can play any avi file , i can load mkv files only to megui but i can not
load any avi file to VirtualDubMod or megui or windows media or media classic player


is this just my bad luck or i am Dumb

any one have 5 ments only to log in to my server and see this strange Problem ?

If the server versions of Windows omit any part of DirectShow or VFW, that's your problem. Use a desktop version of Windows that has the normal, predictable elements encoders and processing tools expect.

Sharktooth yes thats true , I fix this finely , And i will tell you what the problem was ,

For some reason all the avi files in my machine corrupted and i think its virus , because when we scan
the machine we found some Trojan start with name DVD , i don't any software for DVD , so the problem
not in the codec or the system , the problem was in the all avi files in my machine ,

now after clean the machine from this i just download simple avi file and its work fantastic :thanks:

but all the old avi files is corrupted and i have to delete them ,

i will upload simple for this and you can see what Exactly happen to them
