newbie (vcd 2 dvd)

hi guys
ive got harry potter as a .dat file and also as a mpeg
is it possible for me to just copy it to a dvd asis and play it on my sstand alone player
because when i try to do it using mydvd software it seems to be something like 9 gigs
yet in mpeg its only 1.4 gigs
any links to help with vcd2dvd much appreciated

yeah it supports vcd but can i put it on to a dvd in the sme format as dvd

but the quality shouldn't increase if you put it on dvd. why not using the vcd instead?

and just want it on 1 disk
