I have a srt subtitle file from a NTSC video at 29.97 fps. I would like to convert this one to 25 fps (PAL).

I try to use subtitle workshop 2.1 (with the new version 4.0 I don't know how to do this conversion). But if I put in the input in 29.97 fps and in output 25 fps, if the original srt has the last text in 1:34:00 at 29.97 fps at 25 fps the last text is at 1:52:00. And this is not posible, becouse in PAL the duration is a bit lower than NTSC.

Someone could explain me how to do this?.

Thanks.
Daimroc.

Well, If I stablish as input fps 23.978 and output fps I get a good result.

The original video is not 29.97 but it is 23.978. I am wrong becouse the original video not is interlaced, and when I see NTSC I thought that.

However I did it with version 2.51 of subtitle workshop, but I would like to know to use the new version 4.0.

Someone could explain me how can I do it?.

Thanks.

As far as I've followed the sutuation (until few months ago) I don't think SW 4.0 is ready yet for everyday use.

@ daimroc

Did you try SubRip?
