I want to use FFDshow to control all my video and sound, but need some help from you guys:

1. I'm running MediaPortal and would like to have FFDShow control subtitles. I can delay subtitles with command keys, but when you have .mkv files with more than one SSA/ASS embedded subtitles, I have to switch subtitle. Problem is, I can seem to find a command to change it. I can right click on the icon in system tray, choose subtitle sources and pick the correct sub.

Is there any way to have key commands to change subtitles on the fly somehow?
Or perhaps to get the subtitle menu on screen with key commands without having to minimize the picture and right click on tray icon?

Instead of using ffdshow to do subtiles.

Download and register vsfilter. Just google it to find the latest version.

Have Haali splitter load vsfilter automatically. Turn off subtitles in ffdshow. You should now have the subtitles show up in media portal properly and be able to switch between them.

Thanks for the answer.

I just want to be able to delay subtitles on the fly with key commands in Media Portal and also be able to switch between subtitles.
With directvobsub I can change subtitles but not delay, and with FFDShow I can delay but not switch with key commands.

Can vsfilter do both
