Hi, a while back I posted a video tutorial for MeGUI. It had some amateurish mistakes that you folks kindly pointed out, so I took the time to clarify and correct those mistakes in this one. Homage to Doom9. :)

This is a continuation of my last MeGUI tutorial which showed you how to convert uncompressed AVI to H.264. This one shows you how to convert almost any video to H.264 regardless of format, DivX, XviD, WMV, RM, Quicktime, you name it. You can watch it here: http://www.logichaos.com/joomla/guides-by-neil/41-video-tutorials-by-neil-category/64-megui-avi-to-h264

Since this is a followup to my last video tutorial, you might want to watch my other one first. http://www.logichaos.com/joomla/guides-by-neil/41-video-tutorials-by-neil-category/64-megui-avi-to-h264

Hopefully I didn't make too many amateurish mistakes in this one, although I will go out on a limb here and say that I may have misrepresented the "Normalize Peaks" part when explaining FAAC. I did some research after the fact and realized that technically I'm correct in what I said, but I failed to point out how it's beneficial or negative.

Comments, feedback or questions are welcome. I'm just a noob that knows his way around MeGUI and codecs, I don't know how to program or create life. (Well I know how to do that too but... that's not what I meant!) lol :)

Thanks,
-Neil
