After encoding my movie with TMPGEnc I cut the movie into three parts. I used Xtractor to purge the chapters and dumped them into VCDEasy. I followed the Chapter Guide and everything went fine until I played the CDR back on my computer. It played and sounded fine, it just didn't have chapters. Does anyone know if they should be useable on PowerDVD. The final burn produced four folders: Ext, MPEG2, Segment and SVCD. I'm hoping PowerDVD doesn't have the ability to show the chapters on a CDR; but then again, I'm sure I missed the boat somewhere.

Yes they should work in PowerDVD.
I use Powerdvd 4.0 with windows xp and my chapters work.

Maybe I will try another tool, because I can't figure out what the heck I did wrong in VCDEasy. I'm sure its something small I overlooked.

I must be a moron, because I tried creating chapters in TSCV and they still are not viewable in PowerDVD 4.0. I"ll try it out on a standalone DVD player tomorrow.
Does anyone know if there is suppose to be something in the Segment Folder after burning the image to a cd?

The SEGMENT folder contains MPGs that you play besides your main movie, i.e. INTRO and EXTRO. DVD2SVCD will put something in there (if so desired) but you normally should have an empty folder.
