Hi!
I've never heard of a "Real" video (.rm) containing an .MP3 audiostream. I'm under the impression that Real videos use only proprietary video and audio codecs.
How did you incorporate an .MP3 audiostream in this .RM file?
Please load the .RM file into GSpot and post a screen capture back here...

Isn't ffmpeg supposed to manage this ?
ffmpeg -i "file.rm" -vn -acodec copy -f mp3 "out.mp3"
Dunno, never tried it :)
(Edit : grab an ffmpeg build for windows here : http://oss.netfarm.it/mplayer-win32.php)

The mplayer samples repository has a whole section devoted to mp3-in-RM. It isn't that rare, apparently, and I imagine our OP is dealing with a situation in which he's trying to pull the mp3 audio out of an audio-only RM file to avoid having to deal with RealPlayer.
