Hi guys,
Anybody getting problems making things work under Vista? BeSweet's GUI doesn't work right, BeLight too, EAC3TO's GUI seems to crash, BeHappy outputting bad files. The only thing that works is good old HeadAC3he, which doesn't cover AAC though, at least not Nero's AAC (Nero's AAC is better than FAAC, isn't it?).
Somebody knows a tool that works under Vista and encodes from AC3 to Nero AAC 5.1? (I've got Stereo covered through Vorbis, thanks :D)

Eac3To has always worked fine for me on Vista32 and Vista64 to do Nero AAC encodes.... what kind of problems are you having running it?

The "eac3to and more" GUI would hang. Which GUI are you using?

Hi!The "eac3to and more" GUI would hang.Doesn't that require the installation of "Net Framework"?

I prefer the HdBrStreamExtractor gui... maybe give that one a try...

Is it me or is it so that the stream extractor doesn't accept AC3 files as input?!

Also make sure that the CORRECT .net version is installed. There is no backwards compatability built in to newer versions.

Well, since this whole NET framework story was too messy, I experimented a bit and it seems like I got BeLight working correctly now. I don't know what I did exactly (just deleted, redownloaded and decompressed?), but the GUI shows up just the way it should, let's hope it stays this way!
An issue remains though: AAC 5.1! BeLight is asking for neroaacenc.exe. Now I remember BeLight worked with dll files for AAC, but well, what the heck, I gave it what it wanted (latest 1.3.3), and now it spits an error:

Thought I would change the bsn to -q0.4 but it doesn't seem to help.
HELP!!
*EDIT*
OK, found the culprit. The bsn file had to be updated to a newer version (http://rapidshare.com/files/204002615/bsn_20060523.zip.html).
Now everything works fine (BeSweet v1.5b31 + BeLight 0.22 RC1 + Nero AAC 1.3.3 and the updated bsn dll)
