View Full Version : What does I/O error 32 mean?

I get this error after I tried to recover from a crashed conversion. Originally CCE crashed at 20%, but after reading I changed my bit rates to 300, 1800, 1800, and 2450 as suggested. Now DVD2SVCD pops up a dialouge bix saying i/o error 32. This happens just as CCE starts to encode the first file (change CD picture). The encoding continues (8 hrs), but then DVD2SVCD just stops with i/o error 32 in the log. I tried not using the vaf's, and tried deleteing the ouput files of CCE, but still the same.

The movie was an NTSC format. AMD 1.0GHz Tbird, ASUS A7V mobo, 384ram, 768 swap file, ASUS DVD, HP 9100i writter, Win2K. Not o'clocked. CCE says RT is about 0.8, and I have patched with CRC error patch, and also installed the AMD/ASUS/Win2K reg patch for large files. Still the same prob.

Any ideas? I looked thru forums but can't see anything on this.
