So, we launched the beta of Smooth Streaming this week. While we've had the first authoring tool out in Expression Encoder 2 SP1 for a few months now, this is the first time we're offering a public beta of the server component and downloadable media.
While Smooth Streaming will support H.264 and AAC-LC with the next version of Silverlight, the current implementation and content is all VC-1 and WMA 10 Pro.
