@jdobbs
Overnight, midway through Pass 2 of 2 of a BD-RB project, the computer rebooted.
Is there anyway to salvage the work already done and finish this project?

Usually if you just set it up the same when you select backup it asks you if you want to continue from the last complete point. There is a pointer in the .inf file which is incremented after each stage. I haven't resumed from a reboot but guess it's the same.

No - Unfortunately, after selecting "Backup", the program advises that the "Work directory is not empty. Do you want to delete the files?"
I haven't resumed from a reboot but guess it's the same.Then under what other conditions (other than a reboot) would you have attempted to restart?

I know that most times BD-RB doesn't propmy us if we'd like to continue, rather stating asking if we'd like to overwrite the working foldr files instead...
But JD just stated this..

@MikeyBK
Thanks for that link - It looks promising ;>}
Am I correct in understanding that I should first run the command from "LastCMD. txt" and then follow the instruction posted by "JDobbs"?

Yes. But it will only work if you have already completed the first pass. If not you have to start over.
Hmmm... I just remembered. The audio wouldn't have been reencoded yet either.
I really need to put more granularity into the resume function. Right now on movie-only it pretty much always needs to restart completely.

I would change the way you have Windows do updates, if this is why it rebooted, to avoid that from happening again in the future. Happened to me once before. Very annoying!

Nah I think he's talking about "Windows Update" downloading patches then automatically restarting the computer.
FYI to everyone else, if your computer is restarting on it's own without software being the cause then your cpu is overheating and automatically rebooting the system 9\10 times.

Just to let you know - The cause of my system's reboot was a pair of little hands (The 3 year old grandson) that couldn't resist pressing buttons on everything while his Grandpa was dozing.
I sincerely love all of their innate curiosity ;>}

I have found that 95% of the time when you have a system rebooting it's usually either hardware related or some kind of spyware/adware try cleaning the registry with like 3 different reg cleaners 1st and use superantispyware to find the junk!
