Hello folks,
is there any solution/workaround/fix for the 'Warner-Brothers problem'???
You may not have noticed that if You only rip english language - BUT
if You ever tried a different language or even multi-language SVCDs You most probably know what I'm talking about...
Well it's that the Warner-Bros. LOGO only has background music in the english audio-stream, within the other languages while showing the logo the music is ALWAYS taken from the ENGLISH stream, no matter what language is selected!
You can verify this by looking at the IFO:
for the english language only one stream is noted (e.g. 0x80) and for the german language TWO of them (e.g. 0x81,0x80)
The same I discovered when I ripped Tomb Raider - but there it was the 'Dolby Digital' Trailer which came after the credits, so I just stopped there...
So when demuxxing the different audio tracks, there's the REAL problem:
only the STREAM is demuxxed and not the LANGUAGE (which might be a mixture of multiple streams as specified within the IFO file)!
If there's no automated way of getting around this...
where the hell in the IFO file is the information stored WHEN to take a particular stream at any selected language????
(this would remove the trial-and-error method of manually editing the audio streams...)
Hope for *any* help in this issue!

edit:
I'm not sure if this is the right section for this thread?
Maybe it should be in the ripping section... or the audio-related...?
any moderator may feel free to move it where it might get answered!
