Anybody else having trouble ripping the "Blindness" DVD? I'm using VLC and I get:
[00000395] dvdread demux error: read failed for 1/4 blocks at 0x7f9
I think this is the only time VLC has ever failed me.

Try DVDFab HD Decrypter.

VLC really isn't the best program to rip with. Try using anything from AnyDVD to DVD FAB Decrypter to even DVD Decrypter, however that last one isn't up to date for all of the newest protections.

@ggking7
Hi!
Based on some of your earlier posts, I'm guessing your question is related to Linux. If so, you should state this, for clarity of responses - or post in the Linux, etc. sub-forum here.
VLC continues to be useful for ripping DVDs containing only the simplest of copy protection schemes...

Thanks guys. I'll post this in the Linux forum. Actually, last time I did exactly that and I got in trouble for double-posting.
Can anyone recommend a native Linux ripper that's better than VLC? If not, Fab works with wine last time I checked.

last time I did exactly that and I got in trouble for double-postingCertainly that can be avoided by simply posting Linux-specific questions to that sub-forum to start with, rather than posting them here...
