Has anybody done any svcd to xsvcd if so can you please help me
i have a standalone dvd player which suports xsvcd and aquire svcd films but i would love to play them on my home system and need to convert from svcd to xsvcd any clues as to how this is possible

dont understand your question.
you have a topset that plays xsvcd but not svcds? did I understand you right?
if that is what your saying I find it highly ilogical
because there are not many player that I know of that can display xsvcd but if they can they sertently can play svcds.
and what would be the point to reencode something with less bitrate and resolution to something higher?
you allready have lost whats lost, you cant bring it back
