A AVI movie cannot have more then 2GB? I have converted DVD with high bitrates to keep the quality in Xvid and Divx but the movies end with 2.5GB or 3GB.
The movies has about 2 hours but in 1:30 hour the movie stops. Like that part don't exist.
I am using UDF to record. And a program called SUPER to convert my DVD library into AVI's so I have all the library in my HD HTPC (Media Center).
I tried with AVI container with Dvix, Xvid or MPG4. Audio kept the 5.1 channel. It goes ok like I said until that point. I had a 9GB movie that converted became a 4GB I think and that one stopped at 1:00 (one hour).
That is why I started to think that maybe I need a program to split those AVI in 2GB files.
Anyone can help me with that?
Thks
ps: In SUPER I tried the FFDSHOW and MENCODER to enconde the AVI. Both with the same results.
