Hi

I've made my first svcd using dvd2svcd with cce2.5 3pass. Quality is awesome! Head and shoulders above anything I've created using DVCII or TMPGEnc.

What I'd like to do is make my encodings suitable for eventual DVD-R burning. Is it possible to make the encoding resolution 352x480? If so, how?

You can check the edit the Avisynth script box and modify that to the size you need.
If you are doing DVD I don't know why you want lower resolution.

Thanks for the reply.

I'd like to lower resolution so I can still burn as xsvcd using DVDMovieFactory and still have the ability to sometime in the future burn the same mpeg to dvd or am I misunderstanding something here?

Forgive my ignorance but do I check "Edit when dvd2avi processing is done" or "Edit as part of CCE enoding?" Also what values to put on tbe b and c value for a 352x480 result?

TIA

Sorry, but that's as much info as I have.

For the values you may want to check out the Avisynth forum. You might find what you need already posted there.

You may want to do a test chapter or two trying each of the avisynth edit options.
