I have been running 2 player instances to compare the quality of source and encoded video.
However this is producing white artefacts, like in the following picture.

As I have seen this displayed in source video, I have to assume it is a player issue or a system setup issue.

Other Problems - When switching between the 2 instances in pause mode, the screen does not update. It either
displays the first image, or displays black.

I was originally using VLC, but also tried MPlayer as well as Media Player Classic, with no success.

I have been using Avisynth scripts to test effects on sample videos, and usually use Gordian Knot to do encoding.

My System Specs are;
Win XP Pro SP3, Using Integrated Graphics Chip HD3200 on GA-MA78GMS2H, CPU - Athlon X2 5000+,
4GB RAm, Catalyst 8.12.

Ive been trying MPC - Home Cinema + the issues above seem to have gone. Does anyone know why this has been happening, cos i've been having other encoding problems also.

EDIT:
Just checked the screenshot above + the glitches aren't being displayed.
