now i notice something else

i have adjust my hc ini file with hcgui0,23
saved it in the hc enc folder in rebuilder
but when dvd-rb gets to work i see in the encoder settings in hc enc other settings dan i created with hcgui
how can i solve this? maybe somewhere add a line?

DVD RB passes settings to HC -- because they are required in order to make the encode work correctly. They are based on the source and the quality needed. If I provided a way to get around it I'd have 1000 bug reports from "well intentioned self inflicted wounds".

I see your log -- and it looks fine. But I still have no idea what problem you are having? All I have to work with is "these 2 gave me problems while playing in my dvd player". Are they skipping, dieing, locking up, playing bad, showing problems with chapters, menu issues, visual issues? Do you do any preprocessing with other software or make "adjustments" before encoding? I ask because it appears you are at least trying to do so with HC settings. Is there a need to use the filters you added in the filter editor?

the problem is that black hawk down and snatch is skipping many times 2/3 seconds in my dvd player
while papillon played great
and i use no other programs than clonedvd2 and anydvd
i burn my movies on verbatim+R with imgburn speed 4x and verify

so hc does find the best settings automatically?
but why he doesn't load my inifile?

HC doesn't find the best settings, DVD-RB does. It puts them into an INI file that is used during encoding. That skipping sure sounds like a disc problem, but Verbatim DVD+Rs burned at 4X are usually pretty reliable. That's what I use too.

ok then i'l try it again
(maybe with my other burner) i burned around 350 dvd with the first one and the second maybe 20 maybe this is the problem then or just a few bad dvd's
but overall i have never problems with verbatim

thanks for your answers
