Hello Community!

I am getting into screencasting more and more, and I am finding it a very good training tool for all types of people. But I need some help finding a good microphone.

Right now, the biggest thing that I am looking for is sound quality.

My budget starts of around the $40-$70 range for now, but if you have some recommendations that you just can't hold back for a really sweet mic or headset, then spit 'em out (especially because I plan to upgrade in the future, but right now I need to get up and running).

So, hit me! I was looking at the Plantronics .AUDIO 650's, however, I don't know for sure. Any help would be appreciated.

It's not like I'm a headset expert or something, but I know that Logitech builds quality accessories, you may consider their headsets as well (ClearChat Pro USB for example)

I'm not a headset expert either, but I heard a lot positive about the Plantronics Audio 90...

You might as well consider Sennheiser products, should be better than Logitech's products. The PC 141 is in your price range.

Okay, thanks for the recommendation. Unfortunately, after searching the web, there doesn't seem to be a decent run down of headset/microphones for things such as screen casting. Most of them just say, "Get this sweet compressor mic with a decent pop filter and you should be fine". Of course, that ends up being $100-$200.
