BD-RB upgrade 32 bit to 64

I want to improve my encoding speed.Here are my PC specs.


AMD Phenom 9750 Quad core 2.40 GHz

4.0 Ram

32 Bit Operation system



If i go to 64 bit how much would it improve my encoding speeds & is the money worth it to upgrade ? Thxs

I don't think you'll see any difference in speed with BD-RB because it's still using 32 bit avisynth and x264. If it was using 64 bit x264 through avs2yuv you could expect 5-10% speed increase like I do on my X2 3800+. If it was using 64 bit avisynth and 64 bit x264 you could probably expect 10-15% but I'm not sure and I don't think its been tested. Video encoding is one thing that really benefits from 64 bit but unfortunately there's very little progress made on it like avisynth x64 hasn't been worked on since 2006.
