hi, i don't know but i think it's some buf in the subs rip or muxing.
I tried SVCD subs and my philips 951 player acepted well, but some times the subs remains until a new subtitle appears. i don't know why it happened. Maybe the problem happen only with my player.
So i tried permanent subs, and for my surprise it happen again, the subs remain until a new subtitle appears, and in some cases the subs appear with some seconds lated (like 1 or 2 seconds)
i don't know why this things happen. I have some movies with permanent subs and works ok. I don't remember with which version i maded it but i'm not sure that it was maded before you put the new version of subs to works fine in submux.
take a look to this post, it's a guy that have the same problem as i
