please help i dont want this 30meg big file with the subtitles


how do i make burnt-in subtitles?

1) Vobsub can mux the subtitles with your video. VirtualDub has a subtitle plugin that burns them in during encoding.
2) To make the file smaller try compressing it with WinRar. It's supported by the last few releases of VobSub. It will compress your file to about 20% of original size.
3) Use SubRip to create a textfile with subtitles instead of Vobsub which creates images. This textfile is only 50-100kb in size, and of course also supported by DirectVobSub.
