How to convert only some chapters?

I needed to convert only some chapters from .vobs, so I ripped only respective two (of four) .vob + .ifo, but when running DVD2SVCD, DVD2AVI refused to run - all four .vob were needed. But when I separatedly outside DVD2SVCD used DVD2AVI, it read .ifo + whatever .vob without problems and made a project. So finally I had to convert all the movie and then cut .mpg. Is there a easier and speedy way?

You can also rip and encode chapters using "rip with internal routines" and choosing the chapters in "time length" dropdown in conversion tab.
