Italian company Eco Controllo (http://www.ecocontrollo.com) presented recently a new video compression format called Capelli, which is claimed to be more efficient than currently available MPEG solutions. A comparative analysis was carried out by Cerict consortium (http://www.cerict.it/) and its results are available on company's website (http://www.ecocontrollo.com/links/draft_tr_cc_v2.pdf) (however - Italian only).
