Digi cam as a video Player?

Can I/How can I use my Digi cam as a video player by converting vids from my PC?

The video from digi cam has some parameters fixed viz. variable bit rate,frequency,etc. How do I encode a video to those settings....or rather which video converter has that kind of flexibility to allow me to customize a video to that level?

I have a SONY CYBERSHOT W150.

It records movies as MPEG-1 files. The best thing to do is find out the exact details for the parameters of one of your movies from the camera and encode your videos with the same settings. There's plenty of free software out there to do these two things (I can't remember which, though). You'll probably have to pay attention to the naming convention and folders used on the memory stick, too.
