Which Prog should I choose if I wanna make a DivX4 2pass VBR from an MPG file (it's in MPEG-2 format.. I used IsoBuster to get the MPG file from a Bin file that was an SVCD Image;)

Besides tips of prog tips in how to make this good would also be helpful :-)

I would recommend gordian knot and its related programs...heres a hint . !read the guides!

Rip came out looking very well.. Do not understand why colors looked totally crappy when trying 608x256 and great at the final 640x272 though :-/

sounds very odd indeed, what colour depth is your desktop set to?

It's set to 16-bit.. but since the resolution was the only thing I changed in the setting why should it matter? I am totally perplexed!! I will try ripping some small sample MPEG-2's in different resolutions settings and see what happens.
