I'm looking for a tool (preferably commandline) which allows the user to either delay the start of a mp3 file by a given amount of milliseconds (and sending silence till then) or alternatively "cuts off" a bit of the start and starting right in the file itself.
The practical use for it is for alternate movie tracks which have a significant enough audio displacement to be noticeable. So does anyone have a useful idea how to force a displacement correction into a mp3 directly?
mp3resynch -delay 260ms file.mp3
or something like that ... now that would be nice.
Ideas?
