I'm trying to create a set of videos for my resume & have hit a snag..

I recorded the video on my N73 Camera phone:
Video: AVC
Audio: AAC
Res: 640x480
Frame rate: 13.55fps
Container: MP4

Problem: I have converted to AVI using an external program but but when opened with VDub/VDubMod the file desynchronizes

Opening the original file with AviDemux has the same effect.

What I have found:
The original file plays back fine in Windows Media Player, synchronized.

If I offset the audio using VDub I can sync some parts of the video but others become desynchronized.

Did you use a variable or average bitrate for the audio when you converted to AVI? If so, try a constant bitrate.

Changing the frame rate has no effect.
"Change so video/audio durations match" Shows 13.50fps

I used CBR audio.

@westgroveg

Hi!"Change so video/audio durations match" Shows 13.50fpsSo, did you select this and then (after setting "Video" to "Direct Stream Copy") re-save your file?

Good point, because VirtualDub(Mod) will not typically play files smoothly or in synch. If you really want to test the file you have to save it and play it with some media player.
