Today is a brand new day and a brand new Divx has been released http://www.divx.com/ Version 7 Check it out...:D

It seems as though the registration of divx 6 holds over to the new version.

Divx converter is weird. I have FFDshow installed but it says that AC3 Filter is required?!. The same story with mp4 files! I have Haali Media Splitter but it wants crappy quicktime(!). It can not import mkv either! This tool is completely USELESS!

h.264 decoder does not work in my GUI either. DirectShowSource cannot determine fps. ffdshow has no problems to detect correct frame-rate.

LOL yeah sux doesn't it... Figured out why the registration stix from old Divx v6 its because it uses the same codec v6.8.5....

The only new thing in this package is the cli codec that does mkv encodes and that is less then useless cause it doesn't decode anything as you just said..

Oh converter has always been a piece of *** with little to no use at all. It was derived from the old Dr. Divx v1 code and does it no justice...
