Just recorded a TV show which is a musical. In PAL country so the broadcast was (DVB-T) 1080i/50 and clearly it had been sped up to take into PAL transmissions of a 24fps film.
The speedup makes the music pitched up a semitone which is a bit annoying.
I can convert the h.264/ac3 video to divx/ac3 using Handbrake. But I would also like to pitch the video down 4%. Is there an easy way to do this in VDub or because it has a AC3 audio track, perhaps VDubMod? I can see framerate conversion as an option for video but nothing like that exists for audio (guess I might have to demux the audio, and change the pitch using Besweet and then mux it back). I am bit confused by the framerate change options.
Under Video/Framerate there a bunch of options including Source Rate Adjustment (do I make it 23.976 or 29.97?). Then under Inverse Telecine do I need to select an option?
Any pointers really appreciated
Thanks
