Hi,
just noticed an issue regarding cd image sizes when dvd2svcd is converting at max average bitrate.
My bitrate settings are:
0-70: 1 cd @796: ?-1380
70-138 2 cds @796: 2928-1400
138-198 3 cds @796: 2184-1471
max: 2390 min: 1090 min avg: 1200 max avg: 2130
So, when converting a movie of e.g. 72 minutes, dvd2svcd will limit the bitrate to max avg. This will then result in two disc images of which the first one is 796MB, but the second is quite small, like 80 MB.
Wouldn't it be a good idea to cut the mpg file into equal sizes when having applied the max avg bitrate setting?
Or did I miss something which is already implemented and offers an option to achieve the results I am looking for?
